This position is part of the Fisher College of Business Marketing and Communications Team and aids in the production, implementation and execution of marketing and communication needs to further advance the college's positioning in leadership; serves as a liaison with members of the Leadership Program and serve as the leadership content creator and provider on the Marketing and Communications Team; under the direction of the Senior Director collaborates with other Marketing and Communications Team members as well as other college and university partners to support, produce, and implement various college-wide campaigns, projects and additional marketing and communications tactics to further position the college and inform the brand narrative specifically focused on the subject of leadership.
Actively seeks out new trends within the leadership industry and continuously identifies new and relevant information; facilitates and collaborates with Fisher Marketing and Communications team members, University Communications, and other potential parties to pitch and respond to relevant and timely leadership content to local and national outlets to include: academic research, current community-leadership projects, upcoming events, and program-based stories. Collaborates on other marketing and communications leadership-focused projects as needed.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, English or Journalism, 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communication, or journalism or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; experience with communications, marketing and social media management; experience with WordPress or other website management platform; excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective customer service skills; ability to manage multiple projects and think critically; demonstrated ability to work as a team member and independent leader and remain focused under pressure.
Knowledge and familiarity with higher education; graphic design skills; experience with Drupal, Adobe PhotoShop and InDesign; experience with Meltwater or other media platforms; working knowledge of web and digital analytics.
Target Salary: $18.30 - $21.20 Hourly
