As a Marketing Technology Specialist, you are a technologically savvy person who has a passion for marketing. You have an understanding of data and analytics coupled with the creative mindset to transition raw data into actionable insights and profitable marketing campaigns.
A member of the BD + MKTG team, you will plan and execute projects related to administration and maintenance of the firm’s CRM database, website, and intranet and provide data and analytical support on holistic campaign management, including social media and website analytics. You will also be responsible for firm-wide training in the use of marketing technologies.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring optimal utilization of the firm’s marketing technologies and coordinating the collection and sharing of information through dashboards. You will be required to assess the capacity and functionality of current marketing technologies and provide recommendations and solutions to meet the needs of the firm both currently and into the future.
You must have excellent communication and collaboration skills and exhibit a curiosity for understanding what the data means and turning it into learning and knowledge to increase revenues and profit. Rather than developing creative content, your interest in social media lies in understanding social media strategy and social media campaign management.
We operate normal week-day office hours (35 hours per week) with occasional evening and weekend hours to address projects and issues as they arise. Occasional travel will be required to other offices for meetings and/or events.
As the Marketing Technology Specialist you will:
Facilitate the management and measurement of marketing initiatives through marketing automation platforms and other tools.
Compile, analyze and interpret data to generate reports that provide email campaign, social campaign and website performance and insights.
Research and oversee the roll-out of new CRM solutions and CASL policies.
Coordinate email campaigns related to news and events and assist in establishing best practices for email campaigns.
Research trends to identify and propose strategies to drive effectiveness, engagement and reach of Field Law brand.
Identify opportunities for business and system reporting improvements and recommend changes to procedures.
Collaborate with IT to develop and test system enhancements and create a holistic and integrated approach to marketing technology.
Processing website/intranet content and formatting updates and ensuring all website pages are search engine optimized.
Stay abreast of current trends and new legal marketing software and research.
Document all policies and procedures and provide firm-wide training.
5 years + of related work experience, ideally within legal or other professional services sector.
Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.
Database administration/CRM (ContactEase), CMS and campaign management (Eventbrite, Concep) experience.
Extensive digital marketing and social media experience. Able to plan, implement and measure digital initiatives. Knowledge and use of aggregating metrics platforms.
Advanced computer skills including MS Office (especially Excel and data manipulation), marketing software and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.).
Undergraduate computer science or related degree, with marketing or business background (similar background and/or comparable experience will also be considered).
