Essential job functions:
Solicit, develop, negotiate, coordinate, and steward corporate sponsorships in accordance with departmental revenue goals.
Identify potential partners and act as the lead in prospecting, cultivating sponsors, and closing agreements.
Work with sponsors to leverage the Athletics Department brand and image both locally, regionally, and nationally.
Annually develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and promotions plan to maximize revenue, exposure, and attendance for all programs.
Develop campaign and promotional themes and design the corresponding collateral materials.
Develop student and community outreach plans.
Develop and oversee student and community outreach and act as the liaison to internal groups (SGA, spirit squad, band, student organizations, etc.) and external groups (sponsors, Argie's Kids Club, Argo Armada student group, etc.).
Develop a multichannel communications plan to promote and market UWF Athletics to all constituencies.
Direct game operation functions as they pertain to marketing, including writing game day scripts, sponsor fulfillment, in-game promotions, music/band coordination, and spirit squads.
Oversee gameday environment, marketing, promotions for all 15 sports.
Office management, including overseeing a staff of graduate and undergraduate students.
