Well-established professional organization is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to perform a variety of design, communications, social media and marketing functions. This position also collaborates with others in the organization to achieve brand consistency, coordinate messaging, and set high standards for all communications.
Manage, with internal stakeholders, the email marketing strategy and electronic communications including design and distribution.
Research and implement new techniques to foster greater engagement with recipients.
Consistently elevate the quality of design, keeping communications innovative and engaging.
Track and analyze email metrics to derive insights used to propel the business forward.
Support the management of the company’s social media platforms by maintaining a fresh presence on sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube as well as emerging channels.
Assist in the writing, editing, and design of print collateral and website content.
Contribute to editorial planning, writing, design and production of e-newsletters.
Develop marketing timelines and manage projects to ensure all deadlines are met.
Serve as a resource for various administrative duties including telephone and front desk coverage as necessary.
Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in a creative environment.
Proactive, self-starter who can apply critical thinking skills and develop creative solutions to challenges.
Excellent written and verbal communication including proofreading and copy-editing experience.
Outstanding organization with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Experience with graphic design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Adobe Acrobat.
Customer service background and strong interpersonal communication.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs – Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
