The candidate musts have 1 year or more experience with health care, Medicaid, Medicare and / or public benefits, with special focus on the Navajo Nation. The candidate must enjoy and have experience in public event establishment, membership generation, general marketing and communications, CBO and FBO collaborative experience, public speaking ease. Positions in this function are responsible for arranging the booking, set-up, and establishment of company presence at events and exhibits. Primary Responsibilities:Oversees walk in center(s) in northwest New MexicoPrioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadlinesAssures a positive member experience for Medicare DSNP members and Medicaid membersProvides explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertiseSupports event coordination for Medicare DSNP and Medicaid
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (or higher) OR High School / GED with 1+ years in a Medicaid and / or Medicare community outreach role20% or more of travel both local and statewideAble to work nights and weekends as needed 1+ years of experience in a community outreach role, preferably on Navajo NationProficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointKnowledgeable of Medicare, Medicaid and public health benefits Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
