Serves as Director of Marketing & Brand Development for the Clemson Alumni Association. Manages the use of the Clemson Alumni Brand and sub-brands. Assists in the enhancement of the Alumni Brand's social media presence by building a community on behalf of Clemson. Evaluates the use of the brand by the Alumni Association affiliate clubs, groups and alumni volunteers and will manage any discrepancies from brand guidelines. Provide graphic design services and produce various promotional graphics for use by the affiliate clubs, groups and alumni volunteers and the alumni association in general that are within the brand guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned.
35% - Essential - Brand Management: Manages brand usage by affiliates and alumni volunteers of the Clemson Alumni Association. Manages and successfully resolves any issues that arise with discrepancies with brand usage. Evaluates the use of the brand by the Alumni Association affiliate clubs, groups and alumni volunteers and will manage any discrepancies from brand guidelines. Builds long-lasting relationships by providing value to the Clemson communities. Collaborates with campus partners on branding policies, guidelines and approval processes.
35% - Essential - Social Media Management: Enhances the Clemson Alumni's social media presence by building a community of alumni on behalf of Clemson. Develops strategy for regular social media posts. Writes and posts blog posts, tweets and other social media updates. Monitors and replies to comments and messages from social media sites.
20% - Essential - Graphic Design: Provides graphic design services and produces various promotional graphics for use by the affiliate clubs, groups and alumni volunteers and the alumni association in general that are within the brand guidelines. Edits videos for uploading to social media sites.
10% - Essential - Metric Reporting & Best Practices: Measures and documents the impact of social media, and then suggest action-steps to increase impact. Reports findings to leadership. Researches other alumni associations and documenting best practices and new ideas.
A bachelor's degree and experience related to the development and dissemination of informational material.

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience professional experience related to the development and dissemination of informational material.
Experience necessary: Graphic Design, social media, writing, proofreading & editing. Video editing experience a plus.
