The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites applications for a Web Communications Manager for the Communications Department. UC Blue Ash College is the largest regional college in Ohio, located in Blue Ash, Ohio with an enrollment of approximately 5,100 students.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the Web presence and initiatives of UC Blue Ash College and implement marketing initiatives on and through the Web
Ensure the content and messaging on the Web aligns with overall strategic marketing and communications plan for the college
Develop and manage context and content for primary to tertiary level web pages, as well as the Web pages of the college
Determine solutions and provide documentation for Web and electronic communications issues and projects, including answering Web technical inquires and migration of existing print materials to electronic media
Ensure regular and accurate updates of Web content and design
Assist with writing and editing for the web and college publications
Assist in creating jot forms for events
Lead Web usability and accessibility studies and research
May provide direct supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.)
Perform related duties based on departmental needs
Bachelor's degree with 3 years' experience, OR a combination of education and experience. Degree must be in a related field. Experience must include writing for the Web and developing Websites and strategies. Experience may also require at least one (1) year supervision.
Bachelors degree in Web Design or Communications and at least 3 years of communications/marketing experience in the digital realm. Knowledge and experience implementing web strategies that align with overall brand strategy for an organization.
