About the Job Assigned to our vibrant Marketing Material Review Team based at newly established offices in the heart of Berlin, you will assist in reviewing internal/external communications, publications and marketing material produced by various stakeholders within the Chief Information Office (CIO). In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that local regulations are observed and risks are reasonably disclosed prior to publication. Your tasks will include reviewing and providing feedback with regard to marketing material compiled by units in Europe and Asia, which will also involve approving documents for publication by the CIO.
To thrive in this role, you will have to keep abreast of new policies and legislation that may impact on business activities in the various regions, the aim being to ensure that all information is correctly disclosed to existing or prospective clients.
You will provide professional support for the respective CIO teams by answering questions relating to specific policies and procedures of relevance to marketing material and associated review processes.
The position will also involve assisting – from a business perspective – with processes aimed at finding solutions to legal issues as well as supporting the execution of Asset Management control projects and the implementation of upcoming regulatory projects.
Last but not least, you will be expected to maintain a close dialogue with multiple stakeholders and communicate across all levels of the organization in support of Deutsche Asset Management's culture of excellence.
You will require a solid university degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Accounting or Economics, complemented by several years of work experience in asset management or banking as well as knowledge of compliance-related issues (or transferable skills).
The position also calls for proficiency in the use of MS Office applications as well as finely honed communication/writing skills and excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
