Full-time position at global, nonprofit, marketing trade association. With over 350 member companies on the agency, research, PR, and brand side, the Word of Mouth Marketing Association strives to create talkable brands.
Job responsibilities and qualifications include:
- Pursue new membership opportunities via calls and email marketing to qualified leads provided by WOMMA, working with one full time sales staff and the Membership Director to meet a significant monthly budget goal.
- Create, manage and report lead pipeline on a weekly basis to WOMMA’s headquarters team.
- Attend and participate in local and national industry events on behalf of WOMMA.
- Help new members get active and involved during hand-off to member services.
- In the pursuit of membership sales, help promote attendance at WOMMA conferences, events and other programs such as WOMMYs.
- Contribute to other projects and initiatives based on sales experience and industry knowledge gained through membership sales.
- Coordinate and manage companies approaching WOMMA for partnership opportunities and hand off opportunities to appropriate staff for fulfillment.
- Responsible for contact and follow up of assigned leads.
- Create pipeline and sales opportunities on a regular basis to build the potential pool of members for WOMMA.
- All other duties as assigned
The position is a full-time commissioned sales position with base pay and benefits.
