Position: The National Grocers Association is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong spirit of collaboration to join our Communications and Marketing team. The Marketing and Web Content Coordinator will support team members in various projects that incorporate marketing across the organization and platforms, including creating copy for web, email marketing, and advertising for events, programs, and other member initiatives.
Maintain day-to-day operations for websites for NGA, the NGA Show, and microsites to ensure all content is up-to-date, timely, and relevant;
Conduct regularly scheduled staff meetings with internal stakeholders to review content for websites;
Assists with the development of marketing and promotional pieces and collaborates with marketing design firm on print and digital pieces;
Works alongside the Senior Director, Industry Relations, Communications & Marketing to project manage all marketing pieces, productions, and initiatives to ensure deadlines are met and projects completed in a timely manner;
Creates and sends marketing e-blasts to members and other audiences as necessary;
Collaborates on promotion of and planning for the NGA Show and related marketing events, programs, and activities;
Helps to develop and executes advertising plan for NGA Show, events, and other association related programs;
Coordinates and maintains the master Marketing & Communications Schedule;
Produce monthly analytics reports from website, social and e-marketing platforms;
Along with the communications coordinator, assists with creation of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn to ensure timely communication of NGA messaging;
Serves as point person on staff for compiling and producing content for NGA’s Counterfeit Coupon Alerts;
Acts as liaison to marketing vendors;
Attends NGA annual meeting, The NGA Show, each year;
Supports staff in other departments when required as part of the NGA team culture;
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or similar field.
A minimum of two years of experience in marketing or related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
Strong knowledge in all major social media platforms.
Strong writing and project management skills.
Experience with html and Adobe creative suite platforms preferred.
