| Assists the Senior Associate Athletic Director of Marketing and Communications by overseeing the day to day operations of the marketing department including promoting all of Southern Miss' Athletic Programs. This includes marketing, promoting, and advertising season tickets, single game tickets, and group tickets for Football, Men's and Women's Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, and Baseball as well as overseeing all in game functions and all social media platforms for Southern Miss Athletics. This position also oversees the Communications department. |
Oversees the day to day marketing efforts for all sports and selected initiatives, increasing awareness, attendance, and revenue for each athletic program as directed by the Sr. Associate Athletic Director for Marketing and Communications.
Coordinates with the Digital Marketing and Creative Service department the production of print materials (fan guides, ticket sales brochures, posters, schedule cards, print ads, etc.)
Assists in the marketing of various ticket packages through social media and digital marketing channels and platforms (retargeting, online sales, GoogleAds, etc).
Interacts with other university departments to help promote the Athletic Department including Greek Life and student organizations.
Creates and develops a comprehensive marketing, promotions, and theme plan for all ticketed sports.
Oversees the Southern Misses dance team ensuring participation at all home men's and women's basketball games.
Performs purchase orders for all marketing and advertising needs.
Adheres to University and department policies, procedures, and regulations. Adheres to laws, bylaws, rules, policies, regulations, and constitutional provisions of the federal government, state of Mississippi, IHL Board, The University of Southern Mississippi, NCAA, Conference USA, or any other governing authority.
